hair and makeup by Glamorama Makeup Liverpool

Recently, I was booked for a group makeup lesson in Cheshire for 5 fabulous 12 year olds! It was Evie’s birthday makeup party, and the girls had so much fun! I know that when I was 12, I would have LOVED having a professional makeup artist to host a private makeup party for me and my friends. This was the ultimate birthday party for girls.

I created 2 different looks for the girls to choose from. We opted for a glamorous smokey eye with metallic liner. I used the birthday girl as my model, I did a step by step demo on one side of Evie’s face. The girls followed along and Evie did the other side of her face. Of course I was there to help the girls perfect their technique. They learned so much during the 2 hour makeup lesson! They also completed their own makeup charts making notes of new products and techniques.

The technique the girls really loved best was when I showed them how to create their own metallic gel eyeliner using the Pierre René Professional Gel Base and loose pigments. We did a double liner, first applying the metallic liner, and then Illamasqua Infinity Gel Liner. We also went over essential techniques such as applying lashes, defining brows, and I taught them the correct way to contour! We also discussed skin care, and I went through different types of brushes and tools and what they are used for. The girls were masters of blending by the end of the lesson.

Group makeup lessons are ideal for tween or teen birthday parties! I charge £150 for a two-hour lesson for up to 6 girls. You can also add special makeup cupcakes, ask for more info. I also do one to one lessons and group makeup lessons for women. I can also do one to one lessons for makeup artists looking to refine their skills. I cover Liverpool, Cheshire, Wirral, St Helens, and Widnes. Contact me for more info!
