I have been a vegetarian since I was 17 years old, and I went vegan in 2020. The lives of animals mean a lot to me, and they should mean a lot to everyone. Therefore, I only use cruelty-free and vegan products in my makeup, hair, and beauty kits.

Because I use cruelty-free and vegan products, I do not use many of the high street premium brands that you might expect. I do use a variety of professional, premium, indie, and drug store brands such as Illamasqua, Charlotte Tilbury, NYX, Zoeva, Face Atelier, Makeup by Mario, Natasha Denona, Viseart, Tarte, Urban Decay, Catrice, Glossier, Ben Nye, Kryolan, Nabla,  and others.

There are many lists of cruelty-free vegan brands available on the internet. I often refer to one of my favourite blogs, Cruelty Free Kitty. Check out her list here! I like this list because it notes cruelty-free brands which may be owned by larger corporations that conduct animal testing, and the blog is a great reference for vegan products.
