I am a beauty junkie, and as such I tend to buy something beauty related everytime I visit a shop! This is an expensive endeavour, so I like to look for little bargains of products that I haven't tried before. On a tip to Home Bargains (or Home and Bargain if you are from Liverpool) to buy toothpaste a few weeks ago I picked up a beauty product for £2 and fell in love.
Pure CC Cream by Sublyme Cosmetics is a daily all in one colour corrector. It comes in two shades, Light and Medium. It claims to even skintone, blur imperfections, smooth fine lines and cover redness. It contains SPF 15, Co-Enzyme Q10 for anti-aging benefits, aloe vera and vitamin E. As a busy working mother, I opt for tinted moisturisers and BB Creams as a quick everyday base, so I thought I'd give this a whirl.
The texture is creamy and feels quite moisturising, although I wouldn't say it would replace your daily moisturiser. I applied with fingertips and could see the brightening benefits straight away. I was really surprised by the amount of coverage this product gives! I have found that BB/CC Creams were just a hyped up tinted moisturiser, and expected the same from this. The coverage is comparable to a light foundation. It adapted to my skin perfectly and my uneven tones of red and brown disappeared.
You can see in my "I woke up lke this photo" just how much this cream evens out imperfections and smooths the skin. I have the CC Cream on the left side only, the side that looks 10 years younger! The right side is au naturel, sun damage and redness and all. I am wearing the Light shade.
I have used this product 5 days a week for the last month and I absolutely love it. I just picked up a second tube yesterday. I wear this with a touch of concealer, bronzer, blusher and mascara to do the school run in the morning. It is quick and easy and wears well throughout the day. You cannot find a better drugstore BB/CC/Tinted Moisturiser!
