2018 is here, and a lot of people are testing the waters of the vegan lifestyle by participating in Veganuary. I have been vegetarian for over 20 years myself, and I am always conscious of using cruelty-free brands in my personal and professional make-up kits. There are many fantastic vegan products out there on the market, and I just want to share a few of my favourites with you!
Charlotte Tilbury Wonderglow
This "Instant Soft-Focus" in a bottle is one of my favourite primers. It instantly delivers a warm dewy glow to the skin and can be worn alone, beneath, or mixed in with your favourite foundation. It diffuses the appearance of fine lines and stimulates collagen in the skin to make it look plumper and younger.
Illamasqua Beyond Powders
These highlighting powders are staples in my kit, and can be used to accentuate cheekbones, lift the brows, and add dazzle to eye lids. It comes in 3 amazing shades, OMG - a soft light gold that flatters all skins, Epic - a gorgeous bronze perfect for sunkissed looks, and Deity - a multi-tonal 'Unicorn' highlighter that really pops.
Makeup Geek Eyeshadows
These little pans are known as the best MAC dues out there. I will go a step further and say I prefer these over MAC! (Controversial... I know) They are not only value or money, but the formula has soooo much pigment and they apply and blend beautifully. Search for swatched dupes on Pinterest!
Zoeva Vegan Brush Set
Zoeva is one of my favourite brands across the board. I love their eyeshadow palettes and their eye liner pencils. I especially love their Vegan Brush Set. Amazing quality synthetic brushes that come in a gorgeous bag. Perfect for personal or professional use, I have them for both.
